John Van Lenten
Associate John Van Lenten practices in the firm’s Commercial Litigation practice group. John has extensive experience in complex commercial litigation, having argued numerous substantive motions before the courts, prepared and presented appellate arguments, and drafted complaints, motions, and memoranda of law in both state and federal court. John’s notable appellate experience includes the arguing of appeals before the Supreme Court of the State of Connecticut.
Born on November 14, 1962, John and his wife reside in Danbury, Connecticut. John received his B.B.A. from Western Connecticut State University. He received his J.D. summa cum laude from Quinnipiac University School of Law, graduating first in his class and winning numerous awards for outstanding legal scholarship. John was previously a law clerk to the Hon. Barry R. Schaller of the Connecticut Appellate Court.
John is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys skiing and exploring the wilderness with his dog.
