Joel M. Ellis
Associate Joel Ellis has a broad-based practice focused primarily on litigation, including personal injury, workers’ compensation and appellate work. An all around team player, Joel’s practice also includes some residential real estate work.
Joel is a Hartford, Connecticut native and was born in 1936. He received his B.A. from the University of Connecticut, with honors, and his law degree from Yale University School of Law. Joel is admitted to the Connecticut Bar, the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the Connecticut and American Bar Associations.
Joel is married with two children, and in his spare time he is a law clerk to the Connecticut Bar Examiners Committee, helping to write questions for the Connecticut Bar Examination.
