Partner Allan Koerner’s practice focuses primarily on commercial transactions, including real estate and business transactions. Allan is an adviser and counselor to his corporate clients in areas including succession planning and tax minimization. He devotes himself to serving his clients to ensure long-term relationships in which their interests are always of paramount importance.

Allan has extensive experience in the waste management and recycling industries, and has handled a substantial number of corporate transactions for various entities in this industry. He regularly represents small and mid-size companies in purchase and sale transactions, and a wide variety of clients in the real estate industry, including buyers, sellers, developers, landlords, condominium associations and lenders. Allan also handles estate planning and probate administration matters for his clients.

Allan was born in Putnam, Connecticut in 1955 and graduated from Colby College in 1978, cum laude and with distinction in chemistry and history. He received his law degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1982. Allan is admitted to the Connecticut Bar and the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut.

Allan, an Eagle Scout, is married with three children, and enjoys skiing, golfing and fly-fishing.
