John P. Clifford, Jr.
Partner John Clifford is a classic trial lawyer. John’s litigation practice encompasses a wide variety of areas, including family law and divorce litigation, medical malpractice and personal injury litigation, workers’ compensation matters, professional malpractice litigation, and securities litigation. John has numerous multi-million dollar verdicts under his belt, and he has also handled a number of successful appeals.
John was born in New Haven, Connecticut in 1954. He obtained his B.S. from Trinity College in Hartford and his law degree from the University of Miami School of Law. John is admitted to the Bars of Connecticut and Florida and the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut. He is also active in a number of bar associations, including the Hartford County and Connecticut Bar Associations, the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Association for Justice.
John is married with three children and, when he’s not in court, he enjoys golfing and boating.
